Tour Itinerary ( 12 Days tour from Casablanca )

Day 1 : Arrive in Casablanca

Arrive in Casablanca Airport. A guide from our team will meet you, then escort you to your hotel (depending on the time of arrival). Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat

Today After breakfast at the hotel,  start our Grand Morocco tour with a short city tour of Casablanca, visit Hassan II mosque built on the water alongside the Atlantic Ocean. Later on, you will depart to Rabat.

Stopping for lunch then having a sightseeing tour for visit the administrative capital of Morocco, Royal Palace, The Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of incomplete mosque initiated by The Almohad ruler, Yacoub al-Mansour.Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Rabat – Meknes – Fes

Today, travel to Meknes then to the nearby city Fes. Meknes is the third Imperial city of Morocco with Bab El Mansour its famous door, The Versailles of Morocco.

Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Lunch then visit the Old and new Medina.

Later on, visit the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, one of the most sacred sites which are a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. Afterward, Discover the ancient Roman ruins of Volubulis. Finally, drive to Fes.Enjoy your evening with traditional Moroccan dinner, spend the night in the riad.

Day 4 : Exploring Fes

After breakfast , start exploring with a local guide the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 14th century.

We will ensure that you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, considered the oldest one in the world, the Tanneries, and Mulay Idriss mausoleum.

After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant,  visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Dinner and overnight in the Riad.

Day 5 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Rissani – Merzouga

Today early morning, you will travel through the middle Atlas via Ifrane “Moroccan Switzerland”and Azrou. a stop at the cedar forest for a visit to Cedar Gouraud Tree where you will see Barbary apes. From here we drive further south passing by several towns and you will get the opportunity to view nomads living in tents alongside the way. You will also see the volcanic rocks.

Our next stop is in Midelt where you will enjoy your lunch. Later on, continuing our drive by crossing the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) while enjoying the panoramic views. You will also cross Ziz Gorge and the tunnel. Near Errachidia, you will see the Barrage Hassan Al-Dakhil which has turquoise blue water.

Continue our drive to Erfoud, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Aoufous palm grove along Ziz River. Arriving Erfoud and crossing the off road to reach the hotel situated at the foot of the dunes. Dinner and overnight stay in a Hotel.

Day 6: Tour Around Erg Chebbi Desert & Camel Trekking

After breakfast in the hotel, you will start an explorative journey of the area, you will visit the nomads in their goat-hair tent and learn about the desert life, afterwards you visit the Gnaoua people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, here you will have the opportunity to listen to their music and learn about their culture and lifestyle.

Depending on what time of year you visit, you may have a visit to the lake of Merzouga and its bird population such as the “Flamingos”. On the afternoon, we will drive you to the desert camp, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi.

You will enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert and the sunset over the golden dunes. After the sunset, you will enjoy your dinner in front of the camp where you will spend your first night under, or if you prefer, under the stars. Our camp is equipped with western bathrooms.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Boumalne Dades – El-Kelaâ M’Gouna – Ouarzazate

Waking up to the call of your guide very earlier to watch the sunrise then enjoying breakfast. You will trek back to your hotel where you can have a hot shower and get ready for the new journey. We will travel to Ouarzazate via Todra Gorge, Boumalne du Dadès, El-Kelaâ M’Gouna and Skoura.

You will have a short time to explore Todra gorges and hike on foot through this stunning place while enjoying the views of high rock walls. From here, we continue to Boumalne du Dadès where you will enjoy your lunch. Later on, continuing our drive to El Kelâa M’gouna (Valley of the Roses), the valley of one thousand Kasbahs and Skoura palm grove.

Finally, you will arrive in Ouarzazate, you will admire the view of Kasbah of Taourirt that was built by the Glaoui dynasty. Dinner and spend the night at the Riad.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – Telouet – Tizi N’Tichka Pass – Marrakech

This morning after breakfast you may visit the Atlas films Studios before we head to the village of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will visit the exotic Kasbah named after it. This Kasbah is situated on a hill along the fertile Ounila River; it becomes famous due to its role in hosting numerous films such as  The Man Who Would Be King, Jewel of the Nile, Jesus of Nazareth, The Message, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator. Later on, continuing our off roads drive to Telouet.

You will have a break for lunch then visit the incredible Kasbah of Telouet .Afterward, we continue across the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (2260m). Stopping along the way for photos and enjoying the panoramic views of High Atlas Mountains along with Berber villages located alongside the road. Arrive in Marrakech. Dinner and spend the night in a Riad.

Day 9: Exploring Marrakech

After breakfast in the riad , you can start exploring Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace.

After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander by yourself through the other parts of the city. Dinner and overnight in the Riad.

Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira

This morning after breakfast, we will leave Marrakech “the red city” toward Essaouira, the old Portuguese city. You may visit an Argan factory run by women and get to know about the process of making Argan oil.

You will explore the port of the Coastal tourist town of Essaouira. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch in the medina. The afternoon is at your leisure for a personal exploration; you can swim and relax on the beach. Enjoy your evening meal and spend the night in a Riad.

Day 11: Essaouira – Safi – Oualidia – El Jadida – Casablanca

Today we will leave Essaouira toward Casablanca “the commercial center of Morocco” via the coastal road while admiring the views. passing by Safi then to Oualidia where you will enjoy delicious seafood in this wonderful place.

After lunch we will continue to Casablanca passing by El Jadida (was known with Mazagan); this old medina was established in 1513 by the Portuguese. Arrive in Casablanca early evening, enjoy your dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 12: Casablanca – Airport Med-V

At the last day of our Grand Morocco tour, transfer to the Airport depending your flight departure time. End of our 12 Days tour from Casablanca.
