Itinerary of 1-night Camel trek in Merzouga
Join us at Our Overnight Camel Trek Merzouga, We’ll meet you in Merzouga at our guesthouse where you’ll park your car, and prepare your backpack with what you’ll need for the night in the Merzouga desert such as a camera, water, sun cream … The Overnight Camel Trekking in Merzouga starts in the evening around 5/6 PM, we start our camel ride for the overnight in the desert from the Edge of Erg-Chebbi dunes, on the way to the desert camp you’ll be accompanied by the camel driver who will lead your caravan and he will help you to take pictures and in case you need any help.
1st Day: Camel ride - Sunset - Night in the Desert camp
The camel ride to the camp will take between 1h-00 min and one hour, on the way by camel in the Sahara desert will be a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of your camel caravan, the sunset, and the sunrise in the desert. may you stop in the desert to watch the sunset or you’ll see it from the dunes near the camp ( depends on your arrival time ).
Once we arrive at our Berber desert camp, Our team will show you your private tent. and you’ll have a cup of mint tea. then you can walk in the dunes to see the sunset, and enjoy the sandboarding.
At our Berber desert camp, we have a big tent where you can relax, and for dining. ( When the weather is quiet you can have your dinner outside under the Stars ). A delicious Moroccan meal will be served ( Two meal types plus fruits ).
After dinner, we’ll join the campfire where we’ll play local Berber music and dance around the fire, and get to know about the Nomadic Berber lifestyle by chatting with the local Berbers at the camp. After that, you can walk in the desert under the stars to watch the stargazing before you go to bed.
2nd Day: Sunrise - Breakfast - Return to the Village
In the morning, you must wake up early morning to watch a beautiful view of the sunrise in the desert. You’ll have breakfast served at the camp. then you ride the camels back to Merzouga village. End of our Overnight camel trek Merzouga service.
