Our adventure begins at 8:00 from your accommodation with a scenic drive through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the majestic High Atlas Mountains. The road offers stunning views of colored landscapes. Our first stop is the famous Ait Benhaddou, an ancient Kasbah with a rich history.
After a delicious lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate, where we visit the famous Atlas Studio and Kasbah Taourirt. The afternoon takes us to the picturesque Dades Valley, passing through the enchanting Valley of Roses. Here you will enjoy dinner and a relaxing night in a comfortable hotel or riad in the Dades Valley.
2nd Day: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga desert
We start the 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with a delicious breakfast on the second day. After that, we’ll go to Tineghir, making a stop at a beautiful spot that offers views of charming Berber villages and an oasis covered with palm trees. Toudgha Gorge, a 300-meter-tall gorge, is located nearby. We’ll cross under this steep gorge and head into the Merzouga desert.
By afternoon, we will arrive at Merzouga, where you will start your camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will pause on a high dune throughout the trek to watch the magnificent sunset over Erg Chebbi’s golden dunes. After that, you’ll keep riding camels to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a cup of tea. You can relax during your free time. 3rd Day: Merzouga - Draa Valley - Marrakech
We highly recommend waking up early today to see a breathtaking sunrise from the dunes next to the camp. Following a delicious breakfast, you have the option to ride a camel or get back to Merzouga village in a comfy 4×4 vehicle. We will then return to Marrakech by a different path over Draa Valley, Morocco’s largest river.
You can ask your driver to stop whenever you want to enjoy a place or take pictures. After lunch in Ouarzazate, we will travel to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. This 3-day desert tour from Marrakech ends when we drop you off at your accommodation.
