AZROU & IFRANE DAY TRIP ITINERARY
Ifrane day trip from Fez to the Middle Atlas mountain will start with an exploration of Ifrane, a small town surrounded by mountains at 1,650 meters above sea level. It was built in 1930, with European style and a pleasant atmosphere throughout the year, ideal for breathing fresh air. It has a large royal palace and Al Akhawayn University. It is an amusement park for summer and winter sports. In the center, there is a lake surrounded by forests, and next to it you can think of the Lion of Ifrane, a stone statue that tourists love to photograph.
After visiting Ifrane, we continue our way to the cedar forest in Azrou, which is a wonderful forest with unique Atlas cedar trees, called Cedar Gouraud. In addition, the forest is home to several wild macaques monkeys who love to appear and interact with visitors. We will spend some time exploring the area and feed the monkeys. After that, we will go to the main town of Azrou to have lunch in a traditional restaurant or visit one of the cafes with a panoramic view. After that, we will finish our day trip from in Fes.
